Compliance is defined as conformity to all relevant legal and ethical rules of conduct and behaviour for a company. As a component of responsible and sustainable corporate governance, we consider compliance to be the key to successful, reliable and credible corporate behaviour.

Code of Conduct

Our “Code of Conduct” constitutes a binding guideline that specifies our expectations and key principles for legally compliant and ethically responsible behaviour towards our business partners and the public as well as in our dealings with each other within our company. Every member of Sortimo is responsible for complying with the basic principles set out therein.

Supplier Code of Conduct

We also expect lawful and ethical behaviour beyond our company boundaries, therefore we have established these principles for our suppliers in a “Supplier Code of Conduct“.

Human Rights Directive

We are committed to our responsibility to respect and support human rights along our entire value chain and have set out this promise in our Human Rights Directive. Additionally, we have appointed a Human Rights Officer who ensures compliance with and implementation of the directive and due diligence obligations, and is a contact person for any concerns.

Sortimo Whistleblower system

We do not tolerate any irregular behaviour at Sortimo and will carefully examine and sanction any violation of applicable legal regulations, the Code of Conduct or internal company regulations.

By informing us, you enable us to become aware of potentially damaging behaviour. Potential breaches of rules can be uncovered at an early stage, eliminated as quickly as possible and the occurrence of imminent damage to Sortimo, its employees and business partners can possibly be prevented.

Sortimo Whistleblower System

Sortimo’s whistleblower system is handled by persons of trust at an independent external ombudsman’s office. In using this channel, you can submit your report confidentially and, upon request, anonymously. The confidentiality of the identity of the whistleblower and the concerned persons, who are the subject of a report, is protected, as is effective protection against discrimination on the basis of a report, provided it is made in good faith.
